Thats how much i got as my first salary for working last 5 days of the month of April in RICE...and yuuuhuuuuu!!! i was excited to carry it back home but i spent it all the very next day......BUT... it was fun.... i got my mom shoes and a saree and for dad a pair of slippers... he was so happy the next day morning he woke me up and said that "See Gunja i am rich, i am wearing a shoe of 1000 Rupees". it was really an awesome feeling to know that yeah i am someone and i can do something. i got mom cute red shoes that she can wear at home cz her leg hurts and when she walks around in them it just makes me soooo happy!! from my next salary i plan to get things for 3 people.... the ones i really love and care who come next after my parents!! huh u thought i would tell u their names....2 of them i can but i wont...dont wanna spoil the suspense for them. this independent feeling is just one of the best in life but still somewhere other than the salary i still feel that being a student was much more fun and way better that getting up in the morning and going to office..... hopefully i can be a student in some time again and still earn my salary....i made a hard choice for that....hopefully it works out.

  1. The feeling is really awesome. And I honestly appreciate you buying stuff for our parents. They have sacrificed enough in their lives to bring us up. Now its time for them to reap what they have sown.

All the best. And I wish you get royally troubled at your workplace. After all thats what brother are for... :)

  2. Memories can be sweet or bitter! Its just the way you wanna carry them! Keep them to bring smile to your face!

We can never repay what our parents have given to us. But with a lil' touch of care n concern we can always tell how much we love them. Kudos to you for doing exactly the same.

May all your aspirations be true someday and not the slightest of discontent trouble you.

    Chao!!
